The Most Hated Ducati is Actually Pretty Awesome
The Ducati 999, designed by Pierre Terblanche, sparked controversy among Ducati enthusiasts. While initially met with criticism for deviating from the beloved 916 design, the 999 has since gained recognition for its unique aesthetic and superior build quality. Despite its short production lifespan from 2003 to 2006, the Ducati 999 achieved success in the World Superbike Championship. Its design, although initially contentious, has aged gracefully, and the bike's ride quality has been commended. While it may not match the timeless elegance of its predecessor, the 999 remains a significant model in Ducati's history, with potential as a future classic. The article highlights the distinctive riding experience of Ducati superbikes compared to Japanese counterparts, emphasizing the engagement and thrill they offer riders.

105 hp? :D I had to listen that like three times, sounds like that and makes 105 HP...wow :D was expecting a bit more but man...that sound is craaaazy.
The 250 Yamaha YDS3 - the Honda 305 killer..... and then came the Suzuki X6 Hustler, even faster than the Yamaha. If you remember these, you're OLD !!
It's h2 not s2
Thank you for sharing. It is sad to know that monoshock are not designed for carrying heavy loads. We usually carry 100 to 150 kilos of cargo - up to 230kilos total with driver, on the pillion seat. Now we will have to lower cargo weight to 100 kilos only
I feel bad for all the clutches this man has rode with.
Ive got a 1972 Honda CB750 four that i need to get back rolling down the road. Great video!👍
I have a Honda CBX with 6-1Egli Schüle Exhausing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You mean World 500cc GP Champion bike. . . F@ck motogp
Had one in Washington State in the early 90's sold it to Seattle cycle center tech with a grenaded transmission. Would love to see it again. Had a couple 400's I brought in from Japan but the 500 is the only bike I regret selling.
It doesn't sell for the same reason the Honda VTX1800 doesn't hold it's value, they are both amazing motorcycles in every category but they are large, heavy and intimidating for the average rider. I personally own a 2002 Honda VTX1800C and I love it, drag foot boards and even with the 200 series rear tire I love the twisty back roads. Muscle bikes of this size are not for the faint of heart.
I had 2 RD350's and a RG500, my brother had the RD (RZ) 500, tbh the RG500 was more powerfull, lighter and handled better...
Nice, the motorcycle with built in shin guards.
Av a model of one them but it's à race bike
You know, so far I didn’t hear one single comment , what made the 500 so dangerous
The best sound in my ears had the Kawasaki 750 H2 Mach IV Two Stoke. The 500 H1 and the 400 S3 also have a exzellent Sound. The new 4 Stroke Bikes have all the same Sound.
Yamaha could have done a lot better than McKenzie.
please Ducati, you have a new supermono engine.
God level sound
The video creator has clearly never been on the business end of an LC79 on the 4.5L TD V8 :)
Great technical information, well done, thank you.
Honda CBX and Lexus LFA engine are both masterpiece!
They were very smooth running , like an electric motor
Chassis is pronounced "shasee"
Id call it the best motorcycle of all time period
You forgot the Laverda V6
Yes
They should use their fancy desmodromic cams with linked pushrods. You couldn't have DOHC, but a consumer v-con engine would be more compact without the rev limit, only racers and idiots wring the throttle or floor the pedal, non-variable SOHC is actually more efficient and allows a higher compression ratio.
Thats more like it
Folks in town...mostly squares did not like us driving h2's in town. Hard to drive in town anyhow....40klm speed limit. Get passed by dudes on pedal bikes. Carb up big time.
Back in mid 1980's I had the Black/red RG500, no idea how I survived lol, my brother had the RZ (Australia) 500, the RG was more powerful , lighter and better handling. My mate also had a Blue/White RG500, however his second gear kept dropping back to neutral under hard acceleration. which was pretty much always......
KZ 1300 what a nonsense its Z1300
QUE BELLEZA DE MOTOR. QUE BELLEZA DE SONIDO. GRACIAS HONDA
Thanks to government regs, these engines😢will soon be gone. Nope, but you will be. Screw this bull on this bull crap channel
i bought a brand new 1971 Mach III from Jacks Go Shop in San Bruno Calif. I was 18 years old at the time. Only an idiot would call the Mach III the widow maker. 1 tooth larger on the engine sprocket would get me 9,500 rpm in 5 th gear. Putting drop handle bars makes the Mach III magic.
And NONE made for the USA market!
Beautiful
Are you a Mallu ( Malyali) ?
😜
Honda, Ruined! 😂
Love mine I went to buy a CB160 came out with a CB72 just like the blue one in this Video only had 3000 on the clock 28000 when I had to sell it !
Hope get 1 one day❤❤
Not the Hunter, its the Guerrilla 450. July 14th 2024. Coming soon...
Anyone buying into these BS quick convert hydrogen by means of electrically separating the hydrogen from the water should take up that offer of coastal land in Arizona. This doesn't even take into account the "seal" necessary for hydrogen to burn. Refuculousness.
Of course NOT!!! The CBX sounds Crazy, 100 times better than KZ
I wish that manufacturers would make 500cc 2 strokes as dedicated, hard core track only specials. No homologation bullcrap or road going engines that have to comply with emissions shit. Just limited editions for die hard enthusiasts! Im sure that they would sell no matter the price tag or upkeep!
My 2017 has been flawless, an absolute monster!
I remember riding on back in the 70's. Dad would just drive me all over town because I loved that bike so much.
"dis supurmodo" 🤦🏻♂️
Monocorque frame, Engine being a major part of the frame is a great concept to save weight and material. This concept is used in Royal Enfield meteor 350 too, the front lower part of the frame is the engine casing itself and has proven to be very rigid and stable. It's a great utilisation of strong engine bodies which happens to be surprisingly very stable. One may think of it as something that would harm the engine or something that wont be reliable or durable but it comes out otherwise.
The problem with all these bikes was the weight ive had the KZ and CBX from new and i was younger then the reason i sold them was to upgrade to faster lighter bikes
Sounds good. But it’s no F1 car
